“Therefore
said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray
ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into
His harvest”. (Luke 10:2) Our
outreach and evangelism ministries include a bible study for senior citizens
in a nearby seniors’ community center; a clothes closet ministry to help
those that are in need; a prison ministry that visits the Bon Air juvenile correctional
facility monthly; and various events to benefit those in and around our
community and abroad. For
further information, please contact us at reachout@newhopemin.com. Children’s Christian Education (CCE) “Train up a child in the way
he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. (Prov. 22:6). New
Hope Ministries Children’s Christian Education (CCE) ministry offers classes
for ages 3 and under (Nursery); 4-6 (Beginners); 7-9 (Primary) and 10-12
(Juniors). We have bible teaching, object lessons, crafts, activities
and games in a safe, supervised environment. We engage the children
utilizing various educational resources to explore and understand the bible
and provide them with the tools to not only learn, but also apply what they
have learned to their daily lives. For
further information, please contact us at CCE@newhopemin.com. Youth Ministry (YES) – Young, Empowered and Saved “Don't
let anyone make fun of you, just because you are young. Set an example
for other followers by what you say and do, as well as by your love, faith,
and purity”. (I Tim. 4:12 [CEV]). The
goal of YES is to empower young people to walk in their divine authority,
always in submission to the will of God. We want to help our youth
develop and cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through a
variety of activities that are godly, inspirational, educational, and
fun. As they grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior
our youth will come to realize, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the
teaching of the word of God, they have victory over sin and any obstacles
they face. We desire to build a generational bridge, giving an ear to
the wisdom and experience of our elders and a voice to the questions and
opinions of our youth. This ministry is not denomination, it’s not just
“church”, it is Jesus. For
further information, please contact us at YES@newhopemin.com. Singles Ministry (SWAV) – Singles With A Vision “But
I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of
the Lord—how he may please the Lord”. (I Cor. 7:32) The
singles ministry is designed to first and foremost, teach that singles can
glorify God in singleness; second, to encourage singles that they can be
fulfilled spiritually, emotionally and physically when they seek first the
kingdom of God and His righteousness; and third, that in singleness they can
remain saved and satisfied. For
further information, please contact us at SWAV@newhopemin.com. “So
they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined
together, let not man put asunder (separate).” (Mat. 19:6 [Amplified]) The
vision for OneFlesh is that marriages will be enriched and couples’ love for
one another will continuously grow and be renewed. The purpose of
OneFlesh is to help strengthen good marriages, save troubled marriages, and
reconcile broken marriages by focusing on Biblical Principles and using the
Word of God as our guide. This ministry seeks to educate couples and
enhance their knowledge of principles that, when applied, will continue to
grow their love for God and one another regardless of what stage of marriage
they are in. OneFlesh will stress the importance of a God-centered
marriage and equip couples to handle the challenges of married life. For
further information, please contact us at OneFlesh@newhopemin.com. “Favor is deceitful, and
beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised”.
(Prov. 31:30) SELAH (Sisters
Experiencing Love and Hope) is a ministry for the cultivation and spiritual
enrichment of women of all ages, race, marital status and socio-economic
backgrounds. We are a diverse group with one goal in mind - to help
women become all that God wants them to be walking in the divine plan and
will of God for their lives. We embrace and utilize the vast knowledge,
wisdom and experience of our sisters in Christ to benefit each other as we
face challenges and difficulties throughout life’s journey. We do
this through a dynamic annual women’s conference held the 4th weekend in May
each year and with periodic meetings and social gatherings throughout the
year. During these meetings we seek the Lord to provide a relevant word
for what we face day to day. Ours is a sisterhood in the truest sense
of the word. We laugh together, we cry together and most importantly we
pray together for one another. We love the Lord and we love each other,
which is the way we show the world that we are His disciples. For
further information, please contact us at SELAH@newhopemin.com. “Brethren,
be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so, as ye have us, for
an example” (Phil. 3:17). We
are “marked men”
because we want to be an example to all men of what a godly man can and
should be. The
Law of Sacrifice (II Cor. 4:7-12) being pre-eminent in our lives in Christ,
the men of New Hope Ministries engage in a regular fellowship whereby men
seeking a change can participate in our endeavor to keep the unity and
experience growth through various activities, including but not limited to,
outreaches, seminars, etc. based on biblical teachings inspired by the Holy
Spirit. We truly believe and stand on God’s word in II Cor. 5:17 – “If
anyone be in Christ, they are a new creation; old things are passed away;
behold all things have become new. For further information, please contact us at MarkedMen@newhopemin.com. |
